MISSOURI BREEDERS FUTURITY ANNOUNCES DONATED STALLIONS
** STALLIONS FOR SALE ½ PRICE **

This list is a result of the new 2008 format whereby stallion owners could either donate a stud fee or pay a nomination fee.

“These services will be sold at ½ price of the stud fee,” stated Breeders Futurity Chairperson Lisa Maxwell, “and foals conceived from purchasing a breeding are also eligible for Breeder Futurity classes through their 2 year old year. For example, the resulting foal from the purchased service for 2008 will be eligible as a weanling in 2009 through its 2 year old year. However, the stallion must be donated or nominated in 2009 for any of his other 2009 weanlings to get eligibility.”

Stallions are sold on a first come, first serve basis. If the stallion does not sell by May 15, a $100 stay fee will keep his 2008 weanlings eligible. Deadline for the stay fee is June 1.

Should a stallion owner elect to pay a $250 nomination fee up front, his 2008 weanlings are eligible. The deadline for this nomination fee is February 15, 2008, or the nomination fee doubles.
