COVERED PRACTICE PENCOMPLETED
AT BOONE COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

“It is a real asset,” stated Missouri Paint Horse Club President Butch Maxwell, “ having this covered practice pen completed at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Columbia. We utilize this facility throughout the show season and having this for our exhibitors is definitely a valuable feature.”

The Missouri Paint Horse Club kicks off the 2010 show season, May 1 & 2, at Boone County Fairgrounds, then will hold the Memorial Day shows, June 12 & 13, August 14 & 15, October 9 & 10 there as well.

MPHC BOARD MEETING
Saturday, March 20 @ 2:00 PM. Columbia.
Location Change: Boone Electric, not Boone County Fairgrounds
Coming either EAST or WEST into Columbia on I-70. Exit #127 (Rangeline Street & MO 763). Then SOUTH .2 mile. Boone Electric is on the right side, Time & Temp sign, meeting rooms on side of the building, not the front.  

BE CREATIVE AND HELP US NAME LABOR DAY WEEKEND!
The MPHC is seeking suggestions for a name for the LABOR DAY WEEKEND. This is becoming a nationally well attended event and the Show Committee would like your help in giving this event a name. Be creative and help us out! Please call or e-mail MPHC President Butch Maxwell with your suggestions:  816-650-6040 or butch@bscequipment.com.  The review and selection of names will be an agenda item at the March 20 Board meeting.

HELP WANTED!
The MPHC is seeking an Office Assistant with computer knowledge for the Labor Day show. This position would require being available Friday afternoon, September 3 through the end of the show, Monday, September 6, 2010. Anyone with an interest in this position should contact Butch Maxwell, 816-650-6040 or butch@bscequipment.com.  Applicants will be reviewed at the March 20 Board meeting.
